Want to adjust cells and not move other cells??

Say I have 5 rows of cells. The 6 row I want me make the cells wider/smaller without affecting rows 1-5?

How can I "lock" rows 1-5 so when I make adjustments to cells 5+ that it will not affect the upper cells?

Simple question I know.

The width of cells is controlled by the column width so any changes you make to row 6's column width will change rows 1-5 also. If you wish to change the height of row 6 you can do that without affecting other rows.

I have rows 1-5 full of stuff.

And now I want to change the width of row 6 but when I do it messes up my alignments of rows 1-5.

How can I somehow "lock" rows 1-5 so when I make width adjustments to rows 6 and beyond that it wont affect the upper rows??

There should be feature but I cannot find it.

row or column? either one.... changing the height or width of one should not effect the others. Unless you have them merged.

u cant change the height/width of an indiviual cell ...

the only thing thing u can do in ur 6th row is merge two cells to make them a different width/height
