I have a DNA string and I have to paste it into an Excel spreadsheet. But I want individual characters in that string to go into individual cells in the spreadsheet.
Like when I copy lordoftherings and paste it into Excel, I want it to go in like l o r d o f t h e r i n g s, with each letter in a separate cell.
Also, how would I make the characters obtained in a row (like what I'd expect in the above situation) to go into a column?

If your DNA string is in A1 and you want the individual characters to go into B1 through B-whatever, in B1Does that work for you?

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires
