    help with line chart

I could use some help with the attached chart. The problem is that it's spacing each number on the bottom axis the same, and I need it to move the second number of each series closer to the first. For example, the gap in between 11 and 12 should be virtually nothing. on my chart, it should be dropping very sharp, almost straight up and down. I've checked everywhere, but can't find anything that addresses this problem.

Have you tried using a scatter chart - there are options which have lines draw for each series?

Yes, I've tried both, and for some reason neither one will place the points where they are supposed to go. I've tried adjusting every setting and still nothing. I downloaded a file from another post, and it seems to work fine. There must be something I'm not adding. Would it help if I attached the excel file?

Currently your x values are text which means the xvalues are default to sequential values 1 to 27.

You need to convert the x values to real numbers.
Enter 1 in a empty cell and the copy it.
Select range of x values and PasteSpecial Multiply.
    Cheers
