    Displaying the most recent sheet a search result is in...

    StephenR has helped with the first part of my problem but the second part is this:

    I am trying to create a tracker spreadsheet that can track a hardcopy file as it moves around different people.The file that has a unique number (4 digits). this file is being passed around to various people. I need to track this file and record the time and date it was passed around. I have found some code to stamp a date in a various cell in that row... And StephenR's code helps me find who the file has been with but not the most recent (I have a seperate sheet for each person). Would it be possible to display the most recent date entry in that row (e.g. it displays the most recent date stamp for the 4 digit code searched for)?


    As i said before, please read the posts in the link above (only 6 posts) which will help you understand the background to my problem. Thanks, a quick reply would be much appreciated.
