extra cells at bottom going to infinity

I have a spreadsheet that has extra cells at the bottom which are empty. They seem to go to infinity. How can I delete them. I didn't create the spreadsheet.

It looks like it just has a border that goes on forever (no data inside).

    Please help.

Hi chakotay, and welcome to the forum.

For starters, can you select all of those rows of cells, then right-click on the selection and choose Delete?

If you want to delete from row 230 down to "infinity" (aka "row 65536" in Office 2003 and earlier), then:

    1. Select row 230
    2. While holding down SHIFT, tap the END key then tap the DOWN ARROW; this will select every row from 230-65536
    3. Click Edit -> Delete (or right-click on the selected rows and choose Delete)
