    Using reference points through worksheets

Morning All, new to the forum and quite inexperienced with Excel, so in effect a very inexperienced virgin.

I have a question for you though.

I'm trying to build a table accross a couple of worksheets that can compare from both, however what I need is possibly to complex.

On one page I will have some figures and information in a table (in effect some buy prices), now in my industry these figures are split between origin, airline, and prices (there are several different columns for the prices at different weight breaks).

On the other page I have our sell rates, again with the same format of figures.

Now what I want to do is get excel to spot a reference point (for this I'm using a combination of the origin and airline, this can be the same for both worksheets) and thereby check against all figures in the row of said reference points.

I then want it to flag up (or colour) the figures in my sell rates when they either move below our buy rates, have a difference of more than a particular figure and have a difference of less than a particluar figure (all three with different colours).

I hope I have explianed that clearly enough.

    Thanks

    Huw

I think that maybe I have confused things on here, so I'll have another go at explaining what I'm after.

What I want to do is have a range of prices on sheet1 as well as a range of prices on sheet2.

On sheet1 I would like it to cross reference the details in sheet2 and highlight different colours if the following happen:

red - if sheet2 is more than sheet1
    green - if sheet2 is 0.20 less than sheet1
Yellow - if sheet2 is any other varient

On thinking on this one I am thinking that a vlookup is probably the way forward and have therefore attached my current page (which is very bare with little info so far).

Eventually both pages will contain a lot of information.
