How can the fx button show one result and the cell show another

When I am working on a fairly complex spreadsheet where there are many calculated values.

For some reason this program will show me one result when I look at the formula in the fx button but when it displays the results of that formula it displays a totally different number and I can't figure out where it is getting it from. It is so frustrating to know that the computer has figured out the right result but is displaying any old number it wants.

    PLEASE HELP!

Hi Romulous, and welcome to the forum.

My first guess is that you have Calculation set to Manual. To check, click the Excel Orb (upper left corner) and then click Excel Options.

Select Formulas in the list on the left, and in the window to the right make sure Workbook Calculation is set to Automatic.

Can you post a copy of the workbook, or at least the offending formulas along with expected and actual results?
