    Karaoke book using Excel

Hey guys...sort of new to Excel, but I have made a karaoke book of around 1600 songs and they are in the following format...
Name of Song Artist Disk Number Song Number
I can sort them by the name of song and everything does fine. What I want to be able to do is sort them also by disk number. In other words, I would like to be able to verify the contents of my disks with the title like Disk 1, song 1 is..., song 2 is..., so forth and so on. I actually have made 2 books, 1 sorted by song title and the other sorted by artist. If you guys could help me figure this out, it would make my life a lot easier. Thanks in advance for your help...DC

Well... if you click on the Disk Number heading and click A-Z... I feel like I'm missing something!

If you are really this green, which is fine of course, you might find the "autofilter" feature very helpful:
Select the headings of your table
Go to Data - Filter - Autofilter
    (if you're using xl2007 type: Alt+d, f, f)

Now you can use the little arrows at the top of the headers to filter the lists by artist/song/disk etc. allowing you to see handy summaries.

If you're not this green, don't be patronised, but could you clarify what you need?

OK...maybe I wasn't specific enough. I have not adjusted the width of my columns, so columns A through D are used to input song name, columns E though G are used to input artist name, column H is used for the disc number, and column I is used for the song number that is on the disc. Once I enter all the information about the song, I do not want it to change, but, if I input new songs, I would like to be able to sort them in quickly. I think I can figure that part out. The other thing is, I need to go back and verify that I have correctly input the songs (so that they match the disc and song numbers), so after making the master book with the songs listed alphabetically, I would save that. Then...I would like to do a different sort where all of songs would be listed in order of disc number...in other words, disc 1, song 1, song 2, song 3, etc. This would allow me to quickly go down the list as I verify the discs I have. I would only have to do this one time to make sure everything is right. Some karaoke discs come from the manufacturer with mistakes on them. I just want my books to be right. I have manually entered around 1600 songs in the spreadsheet. It has really taken a lot of time and I would like to be able to finish it, and also upgrade it as I add more songs. I thank you for assisting me with this. David

Well...I messed around with this long enough that I figured it out. Thanks for responding to me though. DC
