    mail merging into Word

I know this is not strictly an excel issue but it is linked to it

I want to create a nail merge into word where it chabges record every time the data in one column changes. Does anyone know how to do this. I have had a go with NEXTIF fields but got stuck

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

could you please explain a bit more? AFAIK, mail merge with Word inserts the fields from one record and then moves on to the next. What do you mean by

it chabges record every time the data in one column changes
Can you give an example, please?

I have a a list of dates and times and then for date and time are a p[ersons intials in a third column. What I want to do is but all the dates for one person on one page of a word document page and then all the dates and times for the next on the next page and so on.

Hope this makes it a bit clearer

    e.g.
    I have this in excel:
    12/01/09 1300-1400 AA
    17/01/09 1700-1800 AA
    14/01/09 1200-1300 AB
    21/01/09 1300-1400 AB

    and it becomes in word:
    12/01/09 1300-1400 AA
    17/01/09 1700-1800 AA
    -------Page Break----------
    14/01/09 1200-1300 AB
    21/01/09 1300-1400 AB
