    Pivot Table - Data Limitation

    Hi All,

THis is my first post but I was hoping some of you could help me with an issue I encountered. I review customer surveys for my company. We take all the surveys and then bucket the data into tiers (i.e. positive, negative, etc.) There are verbatum responses to several questions. When I run a pivot on the total results, I am able to view the tabulated data for each bucket. When I double-click on the numbers in the pivot table, it takes only the source data pertaining to that number and puts it into a new sheet but I noticed some of the verbatum responses get cut-off after a certain number of characters. Is there any way to expand the character limitations so that I can see the full verbatum responses when I double-click within the pivot table.

    Thanks in advance,
    Gary

(In Excel 2003) it truncates to 255 chars which is the max character length in a cell.
