copying files from external macro container

I have currently about 100 people who are assessed each quarter. The assessment form is 2 sheets and changes with each quarter.

Up until now I have used a macro:

BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE MACRO IS ALSO RECORDED IN each replicated copy of the standard assessment. And if just one of those assessed people happen to figure out the macro call sequence...I'm up the creek. What I want to do is put the macro in another workbook (call it Macrocontainer.xls) and run the above macro from there. But when I do that the active workbook becomes "macrocontainer.xls". And I have 100 copies of that workbook and none of standard_2009.xls. Any help would be really appreciated!

You can put the macro in Personal.xls and run it from there.

I tried your suggestion of putting the macro in "personal.xls" and running it from there. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Do I open the first file and run the macro from "personal.xls"?

Because when I run it from personal.xls it copies the macro...

Yes, and remove it from the other workbook.
