    Autosum returns incorrect value

I am using autosum to add column subtotals. The value returned is zero in some instances and incorrect in others (reflects the same value as the autosum function in cells above in the same column.

    To illustrate (and simply put)

    Row 1 - 1 1 1 1 = 4
    Row 2 - 2 2 2 2 = 4
    Row 3 - 3 3 3 3 = 0

If I autosum the ranges in a different cell it still gives me 0. I have double and triple checked the ranges and they are for different rows so it is not user error

Recently stopped sharing the workbook in question - could that be a factor?

I apologise for the trivial nature of the question but I am on deadline and don't have the time to keep searching posts and sites. Hoping for a quick fix

    Regards

Without seeing your workbook the only thing i can think of is Calculations is set to Manual.

To Check goto Tools>Options>Calculations and check automatic is ticked
