Question Decimal points where they shouldn't be

I have formatted the cells to general but when i enter 6080 it shows as 60.8. I have highlighted the whole page and formatted it to general and it will not fix. When I set my sheet up it wasn't this way, it just started this morning.

    Hello

Not sure what version of excel you have but on 2007 there is an option that appears to cause what you are describing.

Excel Options> Advanced> Automatically Insert a Decimal point. (This will probably be ticked)

Sorry I can’t remember how to get to the options section in 2003 if that is what you have..................... I have just had a quick look on tinternet and the 2003 version of this is on the "edit" tab under options and is a tick box that says "fixed decimal".

    Hope this helps.
