Employee Time Tracking - Sick days & Consecutive Days

I'm trying to figure out the best way to track days off that employees earn throughout the year. The way it works is every year starting fresh for each 60 consecutive work days an employee is given a "Lieu Day" which is basically a bonus day off. Starting Jan. 1 if someone doesn't miss a day of work all year they would accumulate 4 Lieu Days. If someone has an unscheduled day off work, then the count starts over on their first day back to work. This happens each time an employee has an unscheduled day off. If an employee has work 80 consecutive days they would have earned 1 Lieu Day. If they request a day off and want to use their Lieu Day, I would like to be able to track this as well. For example, an employee hasn't had an unschedule day off all year and has worked 200 consecutive work days, but has used a Lieu Day; ideally the spreadsheet would show me that they currently have 2 Lieu Days available and are 40 days away from earning their next Lieu Day.

Hopefully this isn't too confusing. Any help would be great.

    Thx

Sounds good. Layout your timesheet the way you want all this to appear, then highlight the cells you want help formulating. Go ahead and fill in a couple of manual samples so we can see if we're following your design properly.

Then post that book up and we'll take a look.

I've added a sample layout, which would be my summary worksheet. I'm not sure how to best manage the details of the detail. The column titled "Cumulative Days" is currently how many days an employee has accumulated towards their next Lieu Day. If they call in sick this would start back at 0. After they reach 60 days it would also start back at 0. Thx.

Sorry, but there's no data there to do any calculation from at all.

You need to fully envision what pieces of information are needed and where you want them. Your post above makes it clear many of them. Dates are needed somewhere, date to start initial calculation, date of last day off, # of days used, and more. You need all the info before automation can be added.

Fully flesh out your three example including the expected answers. As you do it, you'll be making those calculations in your head, and if the data in your head isn't represented on the SHEET, you'll see that. Then you can add it.

I think it's best to use an automated employee software for time tracking to monitor and track sick days & consecutive days easily. An automated employee time tracking system has the capability of monitoring breaks and ensures the correct time is calculated.

To track our employees time, we have been using online time recording software from Replicon. If there's any best software that could let you know the work status of your employees with day-to-day reports, then this would be the best Software for such activities.

Apart from just tracking the time taken by your employees in a particular project, this software can also helps to organize tasks and maintain invoices too.
