Problem with comments

I have a file in which I inserted many comments. I placed the comments near the cells that they went with and sized the comment box to take up as little room as possible.

Later, I reopened the file and the comment boxes had moved (some of them many rows away from where I put them) and had shrunk in size so now they were too small to read the entire comment until they were resized.

I spent about 20 minutes fixing all of this but would like to know what caused it so I can prevent it from happening again.

Hello madmanmac,

I think you have to Set Auto Shape Defaults from right click on comment box.

It may help you.
