    Footer: multi-line how-to

I have never done VBA or macros. Can someone walk me thru the how-to of creating a multi-line custom footer?

I want every page to show the company name, logo, address, etc in the footer and this requires 2 full lines

    I'm using Excel 2000

    many thanks

Try recording a macro (Tools > Macro, Record New Macro), then look at the code it generates.

That's why using the macro recorder is a good place to start -- it's where we all started.

After you record the macro, you can do Alt+F8 and select it from the list to run again.

Or you can do Alt+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor, and in the Project window, open Module1 to see the code that you recorded.

If your logo is an image you will have a problem. xl2000 does not support images in footer.

Do you have to do this with code?

Do you know who to do it manually? If so just turn on the macro recorder and then perform the manual tasks.

Doing so will produce relevant code
