Is it possible to upload an excel address into Google Earth?

Ok.. This may be far reaching, but heck it can't hurt to ask.. right? This is what I'm trying to accomplish. I have a series of addresses that I would like to import into a google earth type map (or similar mapping type program), which would put a "tack" type icon on the map where the address should be located, etc. Anyone have any suggestions how this could be done? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Ok-Great Thanks

Any suggestions how I could obtain the longitude and latitude for each address without manually looking up each address? It appears for at least google earth this will be a requirement.

Oh -- no, I don't. I'd start with Help in GE.

    that is pretty cool!

Thanks jonbolton! Do you think there could be anyway to add this process to a spreadsheet; so the mapping could actually appear in the spreadsheet?

You mean you want the maps in the spreadsheet and not on Google Earth??? I'm not sure, but I doubt it. You would need the mapping files and it would make the spreadsheet MEGA HUGE. Better to use the right tools for the right job IMO - use the power of Excel to get your addresses and geocoding info, and the power of Google Earth to see it all visually.

Sorry, can't be more help I'm afraid.
