    Scheduling For UAE

    Dear All,

    Attached is the file wherein I am trying to make the scheduling gantt for UAE calendar where the weekends are Friday and Saturday.

    I am not able to format sundays as workdays some how through my conditions. request you to suggest a solution.

    I suspect that your end date calcs (F) need to be revised so as to cater for the fact that Sunday rather than Friday is a working day - that is to say that the WORKDAY function assumes Mon-Fri working week.... so perhaps changing to the below approach may resolve your issue:

    F7: =WORKDAY($E7,$D7-1)+IF(WEEKDAY(WORKDAY($E7,$D7-1))=6,2,0)

    The above will add 2 days to the resulting value if the Weekday of the Workday result is a Friday....if you have no public holidays included the above should suffice (I think).

    Daddylonglegs may be able to help further on this - he is the date formula guru... if you run a search with him as the user and say NETWORKDAYS as the search keyword you're likely to find lots of useful examples on handling this type of alternate working week scenario.
