Combine Different Years Employee Data into 1 Pivot Chart/Graph

    Hello,

I have 3 different years of employee ratings and 1 group of employees. I’d like to combine the 3 years of ratings together and create 1 graph (to create an easy way to compare the years).

Do I have to create 3 pivot table worksheets first and then combine into 1 Chart? Or can I to combine the data into 1 pivot table first, then create a pivot chart?

What is the best approach and how do I do it?

    Thank you.

    Brandy

Assuming the column headings are identical etc you will be best served combining all data into one dataset - from which you can create a Pivot Chart... a Pivot Chart will automatically create a PivotTable also.... you can then manipulate your Chart either by altering the Chart or the layout of the underlying PT... and assuming you have dates etc you can obviously group by Year.
