Calculate date on predecessor

Hi,

Attached is the sheet I want to find the start date which shall be the end date (predecessor task end date) + 1 day in column c when I define predecessor in Column E which is the task number from Column A

I am attempting to replicate the formula that was used in the example spreadsheet, but when I enter the formula, the cell is blank. It doesn't give me an error, but it's just blank. It doesn't come back with a date. Any help would be appreciated.
