    Counting how many times a text phrase appears in a selected column

    Hello there,

    I wonder if someone can help me please, I'm trying to make a spreadsheet that counts how many times a particular phrase 'Not subscribed' appears in a selected column range (J6:J59).

    I'm really terrible with Excel, so if anyone could give me a hand I would really appreciate it :-)

    Hi,

    =COUNTIF(J6:J59,"Not Subscribed")

    Should do it.
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1
