" in tab delimited file exports

Is it possible to export from Excel to a text tab delimited file and the " in the original not export as """. I appreciate the " " around the " is protecting the symbol but it makes the text irregular and although it is easy to find and replace I would like to make this a single operation and not part of a systematic procedure.

    Thanks

    Phil

Not that I'm aware of. If your recipient program can handle space-delimited format, "formatted text (space delimited)" does not enclose quotes.

It would be possible to create a macro to open your saved file and replace the double quotes but probably not worth the effort compared to the quick, but irritating, manual process of opening and find-replacing manually.
