Recording Data from a Cell

Hi,

I am wondering if the following is possible to do in Excel.

I have a cell that is constantly changing. (Via external sources)

I would like to keep track of what this number does. Is it possible in excel, to automatically copy the value of this cell, to a new cell, somewhere else on the sheet, at a set time period. Say... 5 minutes? And each time it copies, it puts the values in a new cell (for example the cell below the last entry from 5 minutes ago?)

If anyone could tell me, it would be much appreciated.
