creates text file after save excel

When a co-worker of mine saves an excel file that I e-mailed her it creates a text file also. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Are there any macros in the workbook? If you're asked to 'Enable Macros?' when the workbook is open then the answer is Yes.

If so is there a macro which automatically saves a .txt file?

There is macros (I actually developed the code) and she is enabling macros. Other people are using the same thing and this does not happen to them. I don't think there it automatically saves a text file.
