I'm looking for a way to get rid of duplicates in my Excel 2000 spreadsheet. I tried using the Filter but I need both records to be deleted if it is not unique. I have a column with a long list of IDs (Worksheet A). I was given another Excel spreadsheet with more IDs (Worksheet B) that I need to make into one list. The problem is certain IDs belong to specific departments. What I need to do is be able to delete all the duplicate IDs in Worksheet B so I can then put them into Worksheet A. I tried pasting all the IDs into one column and running the filter for unique records only but sometimes it would delete the duplicate record from A and sometimes it would delete the record from B.
