I'm in the process of converting a workbook from the 2003 version of Excel to the 2007 version as we're in the middle of upgrading our office. Our workbook was working perfectly until I converted it to the *.xlsx version.
Our preference is to be able to use some of the new features of the 2007 version of Excel. So now I am in need of recreating the workbook from scratch. I'm ok with it as I can now clean it up a bit and make full use of the 2007 feature set.
I've done some Google searching and can't find anything about this problem that I am experiencing.
I have a worksheet within the workbook that has 2 weeks of dates, actually 9 working days in it and they are setup across the columns, E6 through M6.
Day #1 is 2/2/09 (E6)
Day #9 is 2/12/09 (M6)
The data being charted is in E7 through M7
2/7 and 2/8 are obviously a weekend and therefore are not included in my data in the worksheet.
I'm now charting the data for this period of time and the chart is including 2/7 and 2/8 on my X-Axis of the line chart even though they are not included in the data contained in E6 through M6. Is there a way to not have the chart add these 2 dates to the X-Axis? What am I missing?
It makes the chart an eye sore to look at.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Chris
