Creating a Data Entry Form on Excel

    Hi Guys,
I know this problem could be easily solved with the use of access. Unfortunatly I can only use excel.
I am creating a uniform stock database. I a trying to create a user friendly face sheet, so that the operator does not have to have any knowledge of excel to use it. My question is to do with a data entry form. Sheet 2 of my spreadsheet has a list of all uniform in stock. At the moment it has two coloumns, "uniform type" and "uniform size". Is it possible to create a form on sheet 1 (the user interface) where a user could imput the type and size of an article of uniform that had just come in, and have it automatically added ot sheet 2?

I hope that explanation is not too long winded. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Yes, very easy, but is this really harder than typing said info on the bottom of the table? I only ask because I see a lot of people trying to make Excel act like Word, because they are comfortable with Word, and similar for Access... Excel#s not really that tricky an interface IMHO and I would suggest building a tool to do this would be over the top.

That said, if you insist it will help, I will help!

I insist :-) I do realise there are much easier ways that illiminate this problem, however some people really would not know how to even access another sheet on excel. I need a system that is completly completly fool proof. Thanks

Fine, what kind of system do we need?
    Two entry fields then:
    Click button?
Automatic population on completion of the second field?

We can do it with a popup form - but you'd have to click a button to make it pop up, might as well keep it at sheet-level and format around it.

Sorry for the delayed reply mate.

Two entry fields and then a click button would be perfect. Thanks
