I have created a drop down list, but when selected the text is really small. I know this is because I am zoomed out, but if there any way for the text to be larger so that I can zoom out and still read what the options for the dropdown list are?

I'm not really sure how marcos work in excel.
I went to visual basics i excel, added a module and pasted the code that you directed me to.
but this didn't work, is there anything special that I have to do?
did you follow the instructions on inserting the code?
You have to right-click the tab for the sheet you are applying the code to and select View Code.. then paste the code in the editor there.
In the code you will need to change the reference of the target address (i.e. $A$2) to the location your drop down cell is at.
