i Know from reading a few post that it is possible to get round this, by using a vlook up but cant figure this one out, i work for a call centre and need to show if people have passed a monthly call inspection, 3 calls for each month then display if they passed or failed that call, (amoungst other data)

this is the formula i used and it works up to Aug is there a way to extend this or use another formula to create the same output. i have included an example of the sheet hopefully this makes sense.

that worked great thanks alot i take it it will work for c4 in outputs if its tweaked abit? this has be a great help thanks again being trying to get something like this for 2 days!!

Do you mean apply to range C3:F13 ?

You don't need to tweak it at all - just copy and paste the formula for C18:F18 to C3:F13 and all cells will update accordingly.
