Hi experts!
I'm working on a project for which I'd like to establish a shared workbook on a network drive with a few forms and basic macros. Easy enough. The problem I'm having is that I can't quite figure out how to provide users with realtime (or near real time) updates being made.
For example, User 1 inputs a value into a form, which sets a cell to "Complete." I'd like the other users to see that status without closing and reopening anything.
My thought was to put a button on one of the forms to "refresh" their view, thereby displaying User 1's "Complete" status. I just can't get the status to update while User 2 has the workbook open.

Any ideas?

Oh, using Excel 2007 on Windows XP Professional
The users do not have MS Access and do not want to use a sharepoint based approach.
