    Export to txt without spaces

    Hi,

I don't have much experience with Excel and just came across a problem which I wasn't able to solve. I have a list like this:

    19961209;1.2445;1.2468;1.2381;1.2401;100
    19961210;1.2401;1.2447;1.2385;1.2435;100
    19961210;1.2435;1.2541;1.2435;1.2518;100

And I need to convert the whole document to .txt. But the problem is, it must not contain any spaces at all.

After converting to .txt through menu it does not only add spaces, but also adds " at the beginning and the end of each column... Like this:

    "1996 12 09 ; 1.2445 ; 1.2468 ; 1.2381 ; 1.2401 ; 100"
    "1996 12 10 ; 1.2401 ; 1.2447 ; 1.2385 ; 1.2435 ; 100"
    "1996 12 11 ; 1.2435 ; 1.2541 ; 1.2435 ; 1.2518 ; 100"

I'm sure there is some pretty easy solution and it's quite embarrasing to ask. It's probably even posted somewhere before, but I didn't find anything.

    Thanks

    Hi

Choose to save it in format "Formatted Text (Space Delimited)" and type in the filename in the save as dialog box in the following format:

    "Filename.txt"

Do not omit the double quotes or the extension.
