lookup issue

I have 2 sheets.
first sheet
date number name craft

second sheet
number name craft

the second sheet has a list of numbers, names, and crafts. this sheet will be added to on a weekly basis.

i would like to be able to key the number in on sheet 1 and have the system look for that number on sheet 2 and insert the corresponding name and craft.

what i tried continues to give the same name and craft no matter what number i key
