    Simple Numbering Issue

    I am just starting to get familiar with excel. I have basic knowledge but currently I am having one issue.


    Background: I have a sheet with about 90,000 rows and I need help inserting numbering using a formula.

    The number needs to go as outlined below. 10 Rows of 1, 10 rows of 2, and so fourth.

    in cell A2 enter the below formual and copy it down...

    I have a sheet with about 90,000 rows
    Be aware that Excel 2003 only has the capacity to hold 65536 rows. You would need to upgrade to Excel 2007 to hold this much data.
    Excel 365 user. To unblock a downloaded macro-enabled workbook, go to your "Downloads" folder > right click on the workbook name > click 'Properties' > check the 'Unblock' checkbox. You can now open the workbook.
