    having problem with averageifs formula

    Donkeyote helped me on this question and I solved it too early. I think I need to look at it again.

    can we look at this and tell me what its calculating with the attached file?

    =IF(COUNTIF($E9:$BP9,">0"),AVERAGEIFS($E9:$BP9,$E$6:$BP$6,"<>Totals",$E9:$BP9,"<>0"),0)

    The totals dont seem to be coming out correct. I think its calculating cells I don't need.


    All I am looking to do is average the cells that data is placed EXCEPT the total column. And thats where I think its messing up $E$6:$BP$6

    It looks like you have the wrong reference range for the "<>Totals" criteria... should be referencing row 7... (row 6 is blank)

    Thank you, I will monitor the stats and see what they continue to look like...Looks right as far as I can see...

    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
