    Finding DUPLICATES or identical ROWS in a worksheet

    I am having 8 columns and around 3000 rows in a single sheet.I want to find or highlight the identical rows.Identical means a whole row is duplicate.Thanks in advance.

    Use the Data/Filter/Advanced Filter. Select "Unique records Only".

    One way:

    Select entire range and go to Format|Conditional Formatting

    Select Formula Is from 1st Drop down and enter formula:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    which assumes you have selected A1:H3000 adjust as necessary...

    then click format and select your highlight colour.

    click Ok.
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
