Going to last active cell

When I paste data into a worksheet and then go CONTROL END, it will take me to the last active cell. If this data is deleted and new data is pasted, the last active cell has not changed, even though there appears to be no data in it.
I want to write a macro which will just print what has been pasted and highlights everything up to the last active cell CONTROL SHIFT END. However the data will change each time the form is used. How can I change the last active cell. I seems to be locked to whatever is first pasted.? Thank you
