    Choose YTD and Month figures

I am creating a worbook to generate month end reports. I'd like to pull figures from the various budget sheets into the reporting sheets for the current month and year to date by setting up a variables sheet and I think the "Choose" function but my experimentations have proven me incapable of doing so.

What I'd like to do is set my month in the variables sheet to the month I want to report in, eg "Feb" and have the budgets pull through automatically. I've a feeling that this is pretty simple and I'd appreciate any help given. I've attached the workbook and highlighted one of the sheets and the columns that I'm trying (and failing miserably) to work with.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your help. It was relatively easy to get the Month figures pulling through once you supplied me with the formula, however now I can't work out how to change the formula to pull through the YTD figures. Could you once again point me in the right direction, please?

Thank you. I really appreciate your help and patience. I live in hope that someday I'll have learned enough to tame Excel...
