    Hi,

    Please can someone help...

'When trying to use @VLOOKUP on certain files returns the text associated with the initial result egg column 4 should be similar to column 2. NB: the formula beneath the text is visible and correct on all cells when a cell is clicked on.

That's not a clear as you might have hoped. Perhaps simpler to just post up a sample workbook highlighting the errors and telling us what the result SHOULD have been.

To post a workbook, click on GO ADVANCE, then click the paperclip icon.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response.

    Please see the attached.

Try pasting the formula down through the cells in column B.

So TR126128, if you drag the formula down to say row 22. You will notice it does not paste the formula correctly.

However, if you then save the file, the changes are then made correctly!!

    Strange one...

    Ben

Nope...works fine. The formulas update properly when I copy them down.

    Hi,

    Many thanks for the response.

Yes, I have found that on other excel installations this works OK.

However on a number of installations, even fresh installs (inc fully patched) this problem still exists.

    Any ideas?

Sorry, but only humorous answers come to mind...which doesn't help. Sorry again your program is misbehaving.
