    find number of columns in a worksheet

    I believe this rightmost column number information is available. I just could not find it! Could anyone help? Thank you in advance.

    I think it's 256.

    If I'm not mistaken in XL2007 there are 16384 columns ( 256 in earlier versions)

    Thank you for the quick responses. Sorry I did not make my question clear. I was looking for the rightmost column number for the range of cells used. However, the max number of columns available information is still very useful. It will be the bonus if I can get the answer I am waiting for. )
