Placing Quotation Marks Around Text With Column

    Hi,

I need to place "quotation marks" around text within column J.

    It looks like:

Art & Entertainment > Gift Giving > Gift Wrapping
Business & Industrial > Retail > Fabric Bags
    Ect

    And needs to look like:

"Art & Entertainment > Gift Giving > Gift Wrapping"
"Business & Industrial > Retail > Fabric Bags"
    "Ect"

There is no case requirement, however there are blank rows that would
need to be skipped. The range is rows 2 - 5574.

in an adjacent column, enter formula in row 2

    =IF(A2="","",""""&A2&"""")

change A2 to whatever cell is holding the string, then copy down.

    Then copy this new column.

Go to the original column and go to Edit|Paste Special and select Values.

    Click Ok.

Now delete the added formula column.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Without macros, here's how I'd do it.
In another column, row 2, Assuming your data is in column A, use this formula, dragged down

I chose ) as it is a character that isn't likely to appear in any of your data. Substitute another character if that is not the case.
You can then copy >paste special>value back on top of your original data to remove the formulas.
    Make sense?
