Angry Excel 2010 in Win 10 does not display all workbooks

Having upgraded from Win 7 Pro I am having problems in Win 10 Pro with MS Excel 2010.
I usually have several Excel windows open, you can select which one to work on by hovering over the Excel icon on the task bar & clicking the one you want. However, recently, when doing this, not all of the open windows are displayed. The only way I can get to the workbook I want is to click the ‘Task View’ button & select from there.
It seems to be one particular workbook that will not display normally. If I close all other workbooks, it appears.
Anyone else noticed this problem or has a solution?
    Terry J

Re: Excel 2010 in Win 10 does not display all workbooks

Thanks for that. I was working through the instructions from the thread but got into a right mess (Win 10).
Then I had to take my PC into the shop for a different problem. Whilst it was fired up on the bench I tried to demonstrate the task bar problem to the engineer.
Low & behold it all worked perfectly as it should & I could not duplicate the problem I posted about.
Anyway I have saved the info you gave me incase it happens again.
PS the engineers told me there are a lot of problems with Win 10 & we are all being used as guiney pigs.
    Thanks for helping Terry J

For what it's worth, I was on W7 with Office 2010, then upgraded to W10, still 2010 and had no problems. I have since upgraded to 2013, and still have 2010 on my machine - still have no problems at all. I have not experienced the problem you mention, at all
