Unhappy Extract multiple data into single cells

    Hiya,

I have attached a sample roster, i was trying to get the data which is mentioned in the column (marked in Yellow). I was able to get the dates however was not able to join it.

This is just one name, i would have more names like 60 to 70.. names...

    Please advise.

    Regards,
    Sachin

Re: Need the Details mentioend in the Yellow

Can you re-attach it with an example of the results you are looking for and how you obtained them?

You may need to reorganize those "yellow" cells and separate the numbers into different cells to make it work more efficiently.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Re: Need the Details mentioend in the Yellow

at the moment, i got those results manually as in looking into the sheet and typing them in the yellow column. I actually want to get this data automatically. Whereever we end the off days we should get the date for them and whenever the same person has a weekend shift, his weekend shift woudl get displayed.

Such as - Weekly is simple. for the weekend shift, we have 4 categories WA,WB,WC,WD. I would like to the days when the agents has any of weekend shifts. like mentioned in the yellow. I am attaching the roster once again.

Please let me know if I was about to explain this well.

Re: Need the Details mentioned in the Yellow

    See the attached...

Note that I reoganized a little so as to allow Excel to better manipulate your data. The formula only needs to be entered once in the top left most cell (under "OFF" header) and then can be copied to the right and down as far as needed.

You will need to download and install the free Morefunc.xll addin from this site in order for it to work... the MCONCAT() function will concatenate your results into one cell:

    Morefunc

Note: You can embed the addin into your sheet so others can see/use your sheet without having to install the addin.
