    Group/Ungroup

I have multiple sheets in EXCEL 2007 that each have grouping applied. Each sheet is protected with the same password.

While protected, the grouping or ungrouped is disabled. However, i want my users to use this functionality regardless of protected sheet.

What do i use to enable users to use this while maintaining the integrity of the data in each sheet?

    Thanks...

Use a macro to protect the worksheet. The reason? VBA gives you the ability to tweak the protection options in ways you can't do manually. Use the guts out of this macro any way you wish, or just use this macro to save your sheet. The main point...Grouping/Outline icons still work when the sheet is protected this way.
