Organizing and Transposing data in Excel Sheet.

I have 2 columns of data in an excel sheet. I would like all of column A to be be transposed to row 1, e.g. Name, Address, Transaction date, etc... I would like all of the corresponding information in column B to fall under those values where they belong.

I know how to transpose in Excel, but the problem is there are multiple values in column A which are redundant. I need redundant data to fall into a single column. Also, it is randomly placed information (it doesn't follow a certain sequence).

I am attaching the document I need manipulated for view.

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

Re: Need Help Organizing and Transposing data in Excel Sheet.

Highlight all your column B data and use a DATA > ADVANCED FILTER > [x]Copy to another location > [x]Unique records only

Then highlight the second set of data, press F5 > Special > Constants > OK, then CTRL-C to copy, then click the target cell, Edit > Paste Special > Transpose

Thanks for the help. I was able to execute the second part. The first part however is giving me problems... When I copy to another location, what location am I copying to? If I don't choose, I can't proceed. And if I choose a random cell to copy to, nothing happens.

I just choose a random cell off to the right somewhere.

Re: Organizing and Transposing data in Excel Sheet.

Just to be certain that my original post is not misunderstood. Attached is essentially how I would like to manipulate the data. It is much more simplified, but the same in theory. I have redundant data in Column A that I would like to act as column fields. The data in Column B I would like to fall into it's relative column as well.

Obviously Example.xlsx is much more complicated than results.xlsx but is there a way to accomplish this?

Just wanted to bump this thread. I still am not able to manipulate the data as I want. Anyone have any ideas?
