    Find Min/Max excluding zeros

I have inherited some legacy templates (Standard, Leave and Exception) which cannot be changed. I need to summarise them (Total) selecting the earliest start and the latest finish. (Sample attached). The templates are 90 columns wide and about fifty lines deep so named ranges isn't practicle (I think). I'm running 2003.

    Any ideas?

Can you better explain what you mean by "Summarize"? Maybe give some sample expected results.

Most of the time, staff work one shift. Occassionally they go off sick half way through the day. The 'standard shift' is inherited from a 'shift pattern' sheet. Then take Ron as an example. On the 10/1 he works overtime. So he starts his standard shift (12:00 - 20:00) but works overtime (08:00 12:00). He therefore starts at 08:00 and works thru to 20:00. These figures should appear in the Total. (See attached sample)

That is EXACTLY what I was striving for (many fruitless hours spent in the attempt). Thanks very much for the help - appreciated.
