Hi,
Not greyed out, Completely gone. In the Edit menu, there is a delete sheet where the normal delete should be. I have put the delete cell button on my toolbar, but that just shifts everything to the left and no option for up down left or right.
try this
Go to Tool
Select Customize
Select Commands
Choose Edit
Scroll down to Commands that you want
Click on it and drag to the Toolbar
HTH

Cheeers Francis,
Have tried this but it only allows the one click delete, it doesn't give me the option of shift cells up down left or right.
Hope attachment works
Hi
I am not sure what wrong with your file, but is there a marco in your file?
Close this workbook and open a blank new workbook to see if this persist,
if not, the former workbook/sheet may have limiatation set to it.

Hello,
I have removed microsoft office from my computer, re-installed it and there is no change. Have tried blank worksheets and even opend old worksheets from 2002.
Hi how about try this
On the Tools menu, click Customize.
With the Customize dialog box open, right-click the menu you want to restore, and then click Reset on the shortcut menu.
On the Customize dialog box, click Close
and
On the Tools menu, click Customize, and then click the Options tab.
Click Reset menu and toolbar usage data.
If these don't work, then I don't have a solution to it.
Hope this help
cheers, francis
Thats worked Thanks for that. Don't suppose you'd have a similar idea to restore the right click function?

Omletto.

alt+f11 to open the vba editor
go to insert/new module
then in the window that pops up put in this code
then alt+q to return to excelPlease Login or Register to view this content.
then tools /macro/macros
select the macro called reenable
click run
Thank you thats brilliant. And thanks everyone for their help.
Kind regards,
Omletto.
