Angry Formulae required for a stock report

    Hi

I need to create formulaes for a spreadsheet to give me the detail below:-

    Column A is 50
Column B is O.5 current stock coverage what column A equates to
Column B is 21/04/2009 (todays date)
Column C is 2.5 is stock coverage I need to have at any given time.
Column D is stock on order
Column E is what I need to order to reach 2.5 (formulae required)
Column F is (formulae required) date I will be at 2.5.

Sorry new to the forum, hope I have explained appropriately.

    Re: Stuck

What do you mean by "acheive" [sic!]? What should column D show?

PS. are you aware that all caps means SHOUTING on the web and is not considered polite?

Re: Formulae required for a stock report

Sorry, still confused. Could you post a sample spreadsheet?

What does the data in column A represent? 50 is what? The number of items? The code for the item?

Column B is O.5 current stock coverage what column A equates to
Do you mean "0.5"? And what do you mean by "what column A equates to"?

Does column D have a static value or is it calculated?

Column E is what I need to order to reach 2.5 (formulae required)
Column F is (formulae required) date I will be at 2.5.
Can you put in words what would need to be calculated? What goes in, what you expect to come out?
