Find the Largest Difference

Hi There

I hope someone will be able to help me..........

I have a pivot table that shows values grouped as ranges in the row, Gender as the columns and an average % value in the data.

In a cell outside of the pivot I would like to be able to produce the name of the range that has the largest difference between male and female.

I hope this makes sense and that someone can help. I have thought about getting the min and Max values but this doesn't mean finding the biggest difference so at the moment I am pretty lost for ideas.

I can post an example if this makes not sence at all

It'd be easier to understand what you want if you posted a sample spreadsheet and show an expected result

Thanks, I have attched an example sheet. The data i am using is a lot larger than this (13k rows) but hopefully this should explain what I am after.

I would like Cell O2 to show the name of the range that contains the largest difference between males and females. In this case 50000-60000

Any help you could offer would be great.

adjust ranges to suit your actual data and confirm with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER not just ENTER... you will see { } brackets appear

I must confess to still not understanding array formulas very well but I just adjusted the ranges for my actual data and it worked 1st time
