    Edit, Find fuction size issue

Hello I am attempting to look through several thousand survey responses for up to 30 sheets in one workbook. sheet has 1 column with descriptive answers about quality of schools. I need to search column to find all instances of concern regarding the word "math". Using EDIT , FIND and REPLACE to highlight cell in red bogs down with too long of a formula error after evaluating 61 rows of a 800 row sheet. Does anybody have a suggestion around this short of reducing range of edit, find? Considerd vlookup or if statement but can not figure out how to get it to evaluate large text data for 1 word with in. Using Excel 2003 on PC. appreciate any feedback.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
