Posting a Pivot Table to the Web

Hey All. I'm new to the forum. Always been a bit of an Excel nerd .... about time I finally made it official.

I'm trying to post a fully functional Pivot Table to a webpage. I have tried "Save As Webpage", checked "Add Interactivity" and clicked "Publish".

The result is that I have an interactive Excel file, edit-able through IE, BUT, it loses the pivot functionality. My drop down arrows disappear and I am unable to filter data as I would in the original Excel file.

I'm sure that there's something simple that I'm overlooking (that's always the case with these things), but if anyone could let me know what I'm missing, I'd really appreciate it ..... one excel nerd to another.

    Thanks!,
    -Matt

    Hi,

in the "Publish as Web Page" dialog box there's a setting where you can define the viewing options. You need to tick "Add interactivity with" and then choose "Pivot Table functionality" from the drop down list.
